DHA is an active ingredient used in all self-tanners and was approved by the FDA in 1977

Prepare For Your Tan
Any waxing should be done prior to your spray tan
It's okay to wear lotion the day of spray, but no deodorant
wear a dark swimsuit or undergarment and flip flops to your session (tan washes off easily from clothing)
wear dark, loose clothing as the cosmetic bronzer (tan) may rub off
Maintain
After your spray tan, avoid showering, swimming or perspiring for eight hours, or two hours with Fiji Express
Moisturize body every day after spray tan
Spray tan will last for over a week
Prolong your tan with Tahitian Tan Extender (available for purchase), especially with excessive water exposure
your face, hands and feet will fade faster (Tan mist available for purchase)
